Micropigmentation or medical tattooing is a relatively simple, rapid and satisfying procedure when used in vitiligo. It is one of the few things that can be done on very short notice when patients have a social or official obligation coming up, say in a month! Most people get lost in the technological maze - machines, inks or pigments, needles, and technique. The aim of this masterclass is exactly that - to delineate what machine (Coil, Rotary, Pen) to use when, what ink (Macropigment or micropigment) to use where, what needles to use for small and larger areas and why, what BRANDS of equipment to go for with their approximate COST, how to convince and counsel patients, handling complications and unexpected outcomes and a live demonstration of the entire procedure, from scrub to scrub. Basically, how to start doing micropigmentation IMMEDIATELY after this course.
