Dr. Ganesh S. Pai is the Medical Director at DERMA-CARE, Mangalore. Dr. Ganesh Pai is a consultant in Dermatology and Cosmetic Care from the past 40 years. DERMA-CARE is one of the largest integrated laser centers in India. Dr. Pai is a pioneer in the use of various lasers for pigment, skin rejuvenation, moles, tattoos, freckles, wrinkles, acne, acne scars & hair removal.

He holds the degree of MD., D.V.D., FAAD. He finished his Masters in Dermatology in 1981 and he has served as a professor at the Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore for 20 years. He was Director, Professor & Head of Department of Dermatology at K. S. Hegde Medical College, Mangalore. He has also served as a president of the Indian Association of Dermatologists, Venereologists, and Leprologists (IADV&L) in the year 2000.

He has received a greatest award of the association Prof K.C KANDHARI lifetime achievement award at a glittering ceremony at the national conference of Indian Association of Dermatologists at Coimbatore in 2016. He Was invited as an advisory board member to Clinical Dermatologist's advisory meet at Biocon R&D in 2016 at Bengaluru.

Starting from 1989 to till the time he has given many chapters and articles in the national and International publications. Not only this but he has also given his contribution in many books writing which has covered chapters like :
"Genodermatoses”, "DISORDERS OF CONNECTIVE TISSUE", "Dermatosurgery made easy- Tips for beginners", “Lasers in dermatological Practice”, "Therapeutic Pearls in Lasers”, "Genetic Skin Disorder" and many more which can be very much helpful to Derma fraternity. Dr. Pai is a regular faculty at 5 CC (Continent Congress) and IMCAS in Europe In laser and cosmetology conferences.

His knowledge and skill are simply peerless, He has given tremendous services into Dermatology & Cosmetology. He is always eager to share his knowledge among the Doctors who can utilise it in their daily practice.
